Frika Restaurant was a project based on an existing restaurant of a different name. The intent was to make their website cleaner, more modern and easier to look at.
The most important aspect was to simplify the website, making it more intuitive, enjoyable and responsive.
Die Kräuterbank (The Herb Bank) app was a UX / UI project that intended to solve the problem of finding wild herbs and planting, growing and caring for herbs at home - indoors and outdoors - and what the many uses are of them.
The project included card sorting, flow charts, persona creation, usage analysis, prototypes, user testing, styleguide, UI design, etc.
The intent was on making the app as easy to navigate as possible while providing a maximum of information.
The team members were:
myself, Christina Buchenberger and Marita Blomberg.
While we were each responsible for our own content on different functions within the app, we decided to work with my layout and design.
Every designer needs a portfolio and this was my previous one.
I wanted to use a dark background with very bold coloured highlights in an attempt to produce a different look and feel to other design portfolios.
As is regularly necessary, an update was required, hence the new site.
